This one is very well known and if you are into the haunted scene, Erebus is definitely one of the best haunted houses in the state. This might not be the best option for a first timer because it’s no quick walk through. Erebus is a four-story haunted attraction which actually held the Guinness World Record for largest walk-through haunted attraction from 2005 until 2009!

1.) Hush Haunted Attraction
This location has three haunted houses – named the top haunted house in Detroit! You can also enjoy two secret bars and a vip lounge if you buy a bar creep pass. The abandoned asylum is filled with cutting-edge production technology making the experience feel much more alive and real. Exit 13 Haunted House
Here is another one of the largest haunted houses in Michigan. Exit 13 is also known to be one of the most “extreme” and was voted one of the best in Michigan in 2021. Warnings are to be given for this location as they do use very intense features and extremely gory/unsettling imagery. If you are looking for a good scare, this one might put your courage to the test!

Rotten Manor
Brace yourself for two 45 minute attractions at this location, with the Rotten Manor and the Rotten Asylum/Forest. There is even a haunted hayride for you to enjoy as well. Rotten manor has a vintage theme throughout the property and also offers carnival style activities for the whole family. The location is also adding something new for 2022, an old timey vintage theater where you can catch a variety of immersive horror themed performances – including a deep dive into who Mr. & Mrs. Rotten are and how they came to reside at what is known as Rotten Manor.
